There are a lot of sites that actually allows users to earn money for displaying and sharing pictures with them. If you have a digital or mobile camera and has the habbit of taking pictures very often, then you can upload your entire stock to these picture revenue sharing sites and earn money.
These sites share 40% to 100% revenue either by selling, publishing, displaying or enabling you to use your Google Adsense ID through the photographs uploaded by you.
Below is a list of some of these sites:
Shareapic : A free service that allows its users to upload and host images on its servers. Shareapic has a unique revenue sharing model that compensates by paying its user $0.22 {US} per 1000 page views and a 10% of referral image view. Also you are allowed to share those picture on your FaceBook, MySpace or Friendster.
ShutterStock : Submit your photos to Shutterstock and get paid every time one of your photos is downloaded. ShutterStock pays $0.25 {US} per download and $ 0.03 {US} per referral download.
Scoopt : A media agency that has been created specifically to help members of the public sell photographs and videos of newsworthy events to the media. You submit your photos to Scoopt and they license them on your behalf. They will sell your photos to newspapers, magazines, news organisations and other publishers and pays you a 40% royalty.
Picable : Start uploading and sharing your photos for free and earn monthly Royalties for them.
BritePic : BritePic adds interactivity {Email this image, Link to this image, Zoom in and out, Captions that slide out, Subscribe to RSS, etc.} and Ads from AdBrite (if you want them) to the photos on your website. Upload your pictures and get the ad revenue, even if your pic is embedded elsewhere.
Citizen : Image Photographers, join now and start uploading the images you want to sell immediately. Citizen Image will market and sell your images by proactively pushing them ont their website to the editorial, creative and the media buyers that matters.
Freerange Stock : Photographers submitting photos to Freerange Stock can participate in revenue sharing system. This is implemented through Google AdSense, and will allow you to keep 80% of the advertising revenue generated by your download pages and your profile pages.
TubeImage : Gives you the option to earn money using AdSense by setting up a share system that allows you to earn 100 % revenues from your image uploads.
In addition to these revenue sharing sites, if you want to sell the photographs you have taken then you can visit PhotoWorks. They have a new section called Storefront where you can sell the albums and projects you create on PhotoWorks at a profit. PhotoWorks will take care of the e-commerce, production, shipping and customer service for each transaction. As a seller, you just need to provide your photographs in digital form, create photo projects, then determine which items you want to sell and how much you want your markup to be.
