Authority websites are what you should be looking for if you are eying for top position on the search engines for your keywords because authority websites make your job much easier than a website that has not already obtained this status.

For a very competitive and high traffic keyword, you will notice that generally the first 10 results contain many authority sites. There are of course some exceptions, but in general the search engines mostly prefer the websites they consider as authority websites and rank them well.

Adsense publishers now have a new option to increase their income because Google is now offering the Adsense for Domains service for parked domains.

It is basically a service where Adsense publishers can set up Adsense Ads on undeveloped or unused parked domains. The visitors will see a page full of Adsense Ads, links and search results with no content. The publisher gets paid when an Ad is clicked.

Previously, domain owners were using third-party publishers like Sedo, GoDaddy in some cases Chitika’s Domain Cash Parking service to run Ads on unused domains. Squidoo is one of the most popular ways to make money online. Lots of people who want to start earning money online have not explored Squidoo or don't know how they can use Squidoo to make money.

Squidoo is a Free Web 2.0 platform where you can earn money by creating "lenses". A "lens" is an easy-to-build, single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, your eBay auctions, CafePress designs, Amazon books or music, and oh so much more. That way, when someone is looking for recommended information, fast, your lens gets him started and sends him off in the right direction.

You can creat one lens or a hundred lenses, the choice is upto you. It takes about 5 minutes to set up a lens. Once you've created it, you can come back and work on it bit by bit to make it really great. There are different ways to make money from it and here are some of them:

1. Since you're the brains behind the "lens", Squidoo will share 50% of the revenue generated from the "lens" you the "lensmaster" have created. Any time someone stops by your lens and buys a product you recommended or clicks on a Google ad, you get 50% of the royalties.

But, if you don't sign up with a referral, then both you and the person who told you about Squidoo don't get to make that extra $5.

3. Sell and promote your own products - If you run an eBay store or Cafepress shop, then creating a Squidoo lens is one way for you to get new buyers. If after running Adsense on your site or blog for quite some time you feel that you are not making as much cash as you could, in most cases you are right. Many of us feel frustrated that we are not generating enough revenue that we expect to do and this is all down to traffic levels as well as Click Through Rates (CTR).
